This is our 09.09.09 9:09 p.m winner! We ran a contest on facebook and the person who posted the closest to that time won a complimentary senior session! Katherine was our winner and I was so happy to finally meet her after some yucky weather which caused us to reschedule. Katherine was so fab to work with and I didn’t realize she was sick at her session ~ but she totally worked it!
Katherine I absolutely had a blast with you and Mom and I just love your positive outlook and ear to ear grin ~ it’s contagious =) Wish you all the best girlie!
What an amazing year it’s been for our 2010 senior class and we’re getting pumped for our 2011 seniors! We’re currently recruiting our senior models to represent the studio and we thought it would be fun to throw a little studio party for everyone to come check us out! We hope to see you there/

So after a couple of months, a few tears, a few cross words, some major $ and help of friends the blog is back! Woo hoo! Man I have SO much to catch up on!!
The year in review slideshow will be coming soon and can’t wait to share with all of you. In the meantime I’ll share a video that was shot of me capturing Ashley’s senior session. Boy was it strange to have a camera following me but once we got shooting we totally forgot about it. Marty with AVI Productions did a great job ~ thank you so much! More blog posts coming soon!
Big things come in small packages as they say and Lisa was no exception! I actually photographed someone more vertically challenged than myself so no step stool yay! All kidding aside, Lisa was so awesome as was her Mom  Lisa booked our Model for a day session which we broke down into 2 sessions. It started off a bit rough with a torrential downpour as we were heading out but Lisa never lost her pep! No wonder she’s on the cheer squad!
Lisa and Mom thank you so much for choosing SLN Studios! It was such a pleasure to get to know you both and I hope you have an amazing senior year girlie! I’ll see you gals around I’m sure
When I first saw Sarah & her mom standing there where we were to meet in St. Augustine I was hoping she was my senior to photograph that day! Gorgeous eyes, dark hair - wow!! Then she smiled and she lit up! Girlfriend has the cutest giggle and I had such a good time with her shooting her senior portraits in St. Augustine. Â This girlie is so busy working, cheerleader, swimmer - there isn’t anything she can’t do!
Sarah gave me quite a fright though when she said just 2 days prior she had dyed her hair and it was orange! Shew so glad it got back to it’s color for her shoot - you crazy girl! Thanks so much for choosing SLN Studios and looking forward to seeing you and your Mom soon!

Killer smile, gorgeous eyes, heart of gold! What more could you ask for?? It was such a pleasure to photograph Caitlin - she’s an absolute doll and hanging out with Mom was just as fun as she helped spot some new places and really had an eye for what I love (texture/funky walls) There’s just something about this chickie and while photographing one of her best friends last night we were talking and we all came up with poised. Were your ears burning Caitlin?
Caitlin, you were so awesome and I love that you helped your friends pick out their outfits too You’re hired girlfriend to be a stylist for the studio haha! Â I wish you all the best for your senior year and enjoy it!!
Can you believe it has been a year since we moved into our new studio and had our awesome grand opening - what a fun night and again thank you to all who came. Â Because of our friends, family and clients we have had a successful year building our business here in Florida
Now you get to visit at a whole new studio which we are thrilled to be moving into! Our new address will be 404 Walnut Street, Green Cove Springs, FL. Â I know some clients have been worried because our current location has such charm and this place has that and more! Beautiful brick wall, rustic wood flooring and beautiful track lighting! Â Â The timing of all of this happening could not have given a clearer sign that this is the right move ~ it’s so true when one door closes another opens you just have to be open to it!
I am loving that these senior girls are booking a studio and a location session!  We get to play and have so much fun getting so many different looks and Chelsea was NO exception. First of all she brought purple which is such a hot color this year and THEN she pulled out the flower headband - a girl after my own  accessory heart!
Chelsea & Mom you gals were so fun to hang with and glad we braved the storm a bit at the Winterbourne ~ can you believe I thought it would pass - what was I thinking  Thank you so much for choosing SLN Studios and Chelsea have an amazing senior year girlie!
You might remember this handsome fella from 2008.  Mom told me she’d definitely book me for Megan’s senior portraits and wow did the time fly! I can’t believe 2 years have gone by and now it’s Meg’s turn to graduate.  I flew out Thursday night and what a race that was with the storms and delayed flights, but thankfully everything worked out and it was time to shoot!  We had quite the adventure driving around finding ‘the field’, puddles, off roading to retrieve the forgotten step stool, the drama of not losing the ONE key she had to her car….the list goes on! Anyway Meg is seriously drop dead gorgeous and totally sweet to boot.  I had such a good time going through her outfits, and the shoes! Oh my gosh, the shoes!!  Okay enough talk, here she is
Megan, girl you are going to have an A-MAZING year!!! I am so proud of you with your show choir and making dance captain.  Thank you for being such a good sport and girl you can work the camera Also thanks for introducing me to those rockin’ jeans lol  Don’t be a stranger!!
I say it all the time but seriously I have the best clients They always roll with the punches and are up for anything!  I loved that Ellen brought her board and we had visions of putting her in the water but the waves were over the top that night! I’ve never seen them like that since I’ve lived here so needless to say we didn’t want her completely drenched.  Another time though Ellen and we can get that shot  Thanks so much for choosing SLN Studios - you were awesome!
